SENIOR LEADERS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

Strategic Leadership & the Future of Organisations

17 – 19 August 2026
The Chateau Spa & Wellness Resort,
Bukit Tinggi, Pahang, Malaysia.

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

As the global landscape continues to shift, leaders today face unprecedented disruptions in geopolitics, economics, technology, and society. The rapid rise of artificial intelligence is transforming how organisations create value, make decisions, and respond to emerging competitive pressures. With technology accelerating the pace and scale of change, the traditional anchors of stability can no longer be taken for granted, as new expectations arise from diverse stakeholders across complex social, political, and environmental domains.

In this demanding environment, senior leaders are responsible for sustaining both the performance and the health of their organisations. They must navigate ambiguity with clarity, integrating the possibilities of AI with the timeless responsibilities of leadership—judgment, accountability, purpose, and human connection. Their strategic insight now requires an enriched paradigm that unites rigorous thinking, emotional intelligence, and ethical foresight. This is Wise Power.

DAY 1 - 18 AUGUST 2026

In this session, we introduce the method of Wise Power and apply it to the global dynamics of the world. We reveal the structure of the disrupted forces that shape the current complexity of the business environment.

We explore the many ways of thinking and understand better how emotions share the boundaries of our thinking. We identify the individual and collective needs for having strategic conversations about the purpose of the organisation.

Strategic Decisions occur on the edge, in the middle of a tension created by uncontrollable forces. To fully express our leadership power, we must decode these critical situations and avoid being prisoners of expected reactions.

In this interactive session, using several mini case-studies, we train ourselves to position ourselves strategically and think before (re)acting. We learn to decode Reactive and Proactive Strategies and a method to mitigate the most dangerous risks.

We identify a pathway to create opportunities out of unexpected circumstances. This allows us to prepare ourselves for the conflicting expectations of stakeholders.

Wise Power in Action
To lead at our full potential requires the combination of our thinking, our emotions and our sense of purpose. In this last session, each participant develops an individual and private vision that clarifies the short, medium and long term strategy that will guide his or her own full accomplishment as a leader.

This strategy includes the formation of individual concrete actions then aligns with the broader context of the organisational and global levels.

DAY 2 - 19 AUGUST 2026

AI is reshaping how organisations operate, compete, and make decisions. This session offers a clear, practical overview of what today’s AI systems can and cannot do.

Participants explore the three core functions of AI: perception, prediction, and prototyping, and learn where each creates value and where limitations remain. The session also introduces the idea of a “prediction machine,” helping leaders recognise when AI can meaningfully improve organisational performance.

By understanding the components and evaluation criteria of prediction systems, leaders gain a grounded perspective that cuts through the hype and highlights real opportunities for impact.

As algorithms become central to strategy and operations, leaders must understand both their potential and their constraints. This session explores how evolving global data protection rules shape AI strategy and organisational choices.

Participants examine the ethical dimensions of machine learning, including fairness and bias, and the leadership responsibilities that arise from algorithmic decision making. The discussion highlights how these issues influence trust, accountability, and long-term organisational resilience.

The session concludes with practical tools—A/B testing and Randomized Controlled Trials -that help organisations learn systematically, experiment safely, and make better evidence-based decisions in an increasingly data driven world.

PERDANA LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION

Perdana Leadership Foundation was chartered in January 2003 as a private, non-profit organisation with a public purpose: preserving, researching, and disseminating materials by and on Malaysia’s past Prime Ministers. Premised on the belief that past leadership can yield valuable insights for present and future leaders, the Foundation’s objective is to increase awareness and deepen understanding of Malaysia’s history and leadership legacy. The Foundation also seeks to develop leadership skills and capacity through its programmes and initiatives.

The Foundation regularly organises forums, roundtables, and discourses centred on issues related to leadership, nation-building, and economic development. One of its flagship programmes is the CEO Forum which gathers corporate leaders, senior government officials, and business executives to discuss business and economic issues of the day.

The Foundation is home to the Perdana Library which contains 12,000 physical titles and more than 250,000 digital documents, including speeches, policy papers, and articles related to Malaysia’s development journey. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees chaired by Tan Sri Azman Hashim, Chairman Emeritus of AmBank Group.
