Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad chaired a closed-door dialogue with five international and twenty Malaysian delegates who included Senator Dato’ Sri Abdul Wahid Omar and Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcob to discuss whether another global financial crisis is imminent and what Malaysia can do to mitigate against its effects.
The one-day event was held at the Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Notes of the meeting will be presented to the government for reference and consideration.
