23RD INFORMATION LITERACY PROGRAMME

The first programme of the year 2018 for Perdana Leadership Foundation came in the form of the 23rd Information Literacy Programme, organized here at the Perdana Leadership Foundation on 10th February. The programme was joined by more than 100 students and teachers from 8 different schools.
After having their breakfast, the programme started with a prayer recital and a brief introduction of the history of the Foundation by Mr Faridzuan. Ms Nabilah then took over and briefed the students of the programme’s agenda before splitting the students into groups. Off they go into their designated groups and started working on their presentation.
Four hours later and it’s time for the students to present their findings to a panel of judges. Each group is given 10 minutes in total; 7 minutes to present, and 3 minutes to answer questions. The topics of the presentations vary from Malayan Union, secession of Singapore from Malaysia, Malayan Emergency, and many more.
Ultimately there can be only one winner, and after giving much considerations and evaluation, Sekolah Dato’ Abdul Razak (SDAR) was crowned winner, and Muhd Hazim Aisyoul Khorni (SDAR) as the best presenter. The school’s topic of presentation was ‘Multiracial cooperation towards Independence.” It’s not the end of the world for the other groups though, as everyone brought home prizes as well as bonus prizes for winning the Website Quiz category.
The programme ended with a photo session with all 100-plus teachers and students in our main lobby.
