Puan Sri Datin Paduka Hajah Noorainee Abdul Rahman is the wife of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Malaysia’s 8th Prime Minister. She was born on 21st April 1949. In her early years, she received her education at Sultan Abu Bakar Girl School (SABGS),  Sultan Abu Bakar Secondary Girl School (SABSGS) or now known as Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Perempuan Sultan Abu Bakar Girls, Muar.

On 22nd September 1972, Puan Sri Datin Paduka Hajah Noorainee married to Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.They have four children, Datuk Fakhri Yassin Mahiaddin, Datin Sri Nabilah Mahiaddin, Najwa Mahiaddin, and Farhan Yassin Mahiaddin. Their children are heavily involved in business and corporate, entertainment and writing industries. Their eldest son, Datuk Fakhri Yassin, was a corporate figure in Malaysia and assumed the position of Executive Chairman. The second child, Datin Sri Nabilah was involved in book writing and the third child, Najwa Mahiaddin and Farhan Yassin shared the same interest in the entertainment industry.

Puan Sri Datin Paduka Hajah Noorainee has served in various positions such as former Patron of the National PUSPANITA and a former Vice President Welfare Club of the Wives of Ministers and Deputy Ministers (BAKTI). When her husband, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was Menteri Besar of Johor, she held the position of Advisor to the Charitable Organisation of Wives of Johor State Representatives (JUITA JOHOR). Other than that, she was also the Patron, the Internal Conscience Program of the School in-Hospital project. It was her inspiration to give students the opportunity to get an education when they were hospitalised. It is a collaboration between the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health and the Nurul Yaqeen Foundation.
