PLF LEADERSHIP AT WORK (L.A.W) WORKSHOP

The Perdana Leadership Foundation invites you to participate in our upcoming programme Leadership@Work (L.A.W.) A Programme on Developing Effective Leadership, a workshop where you learn by doing, from start to finish.

Introduction

Leadership and management must go hand in hand. They are not the same thing. But they are necessarily linked, and complementary. The main difference between leaders and managers is that leaders have people follow them while managers have people who work for them. A successful leader needs to be both a strong leader and manager to get their team on board to follow them towards their vision of success.

This workshop aims to inculcate (through interactive learning, games, role-playing and experiential fun activities) the traits of a professional leader. Throughout the sessions, participants will learn the core aspects of what makes a leader successful, contributing to the profitability of their company. At the end of the workshop, participants will hold in their hands specific skills, concepts, and experience that can propel their team and company towards greater professionalism and as a result, greater profitability.

Methodology

The workshop is interactive, enabling participants to internalise concepts and knowledge. There is a mixture of lectures, roleplays, skill practices, discussions, games, group dynamics, simulations, and reflective exercises to integrate learning.
