BETTER TIMES AHEAD FOR MALAYSIA? TRENDS, PREDICTIONS AND OUTLOOK FOR 2013 – 2020
Malaysia has had its fair share of crises, from the 1987 recession to the Asian currency crisis to the 2008 financial crash. We have weathered the storms but the world in which we are in is anything but calm. Uncertainties abound, with the world rocked by a fresh financial crisis, and a constantly changing environment presenting Malaysia with new challenges as well as opportunities. How will the nation fare in the year’s ahead leading up to the goal year of Vision 2020? What are the issues that we have to tackle as a nation in order to succeed in the 21stcentury?
To address these concerns, Perdana Leadership Foundation is organising its fifth CEO Forum on the 18th of June 2013 in Berjaya Times Square Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur. Once again, more than thirty Malaysian CEOs and industry experts will give their opinions on a wide range of issues such as Malaysia’sexternal challenges, the nation’s SWOT report card, our talent development channel via higher education, the future of our natural resources, and the development of the Islamic finance industry in Malaysiain an event that promises fresh interactions and new insights. This key Forum aims to highlight the trends, predictions and outlook for Malaysia in 2013.
The one-day event consists of one plenary and nine concurrent sessions, including a Special Session with Ernst & Young with a closing keynote address by none other than the fourth Prime Minister of Malaysia, YABhg Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.
