Information Literacy Programme

The Information Literacy Programme is part of the Perdana Leadership Foundation’s Public Outreach initiative to expose young Malaysians to the proper research methods in the learning process as well as provide social services to those in need. The Information Literacy Programme is also an initiative to encourage lifelong learning for young Malaysians to recognise and understand the development of the country’s history.

As part of our efforts to reach out to more young Malaysians, the Perdana Leadership Foundation team conducted a one-day games-filled programme at a privately-run orphanage in Sekendi, SabakBernam in October 2013. The kids ranged in age from 6 years old to 16 years old, and some single Mothers were present as well. The Foundation donated a cow to the school for Eid Al-Adha as well as helped to spruce up the school’s library.
