VISIT TO PERDANA LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION

Yesterday, the Perdana Leadership Foundation was visited by 3 officers from the Knowledge Management Centre of Bank Negara Malaysia. Also joining the visit was an officer from Islamic Banking and Financial Institute Malaysia (IBFIM). The visit was conducted by our senior librarian, Mr Adnan Haris. Mr Faridzuan acted as the photographer of the visit.
Prior the visit, representatives from Bank Negara Malaysia expressed their intention of building a shared resource centre/library and would like to obtain information vital to the operations of the shared resource centre. So this visit was not the usual visit and tour of the library.
After a brief history and introduction of the Foundation by Mr Adnan, the officers started asking lots and lots of question regarding to how the Perdana Library operates. Fortunately, Mr Adnan has 14 years of experience with the Perdana Library and was able to answer the questions as best as he can.
The Q & A session continues as the tour moves to the Gallery and then to the library. Pn Hasniza then joined the tour as she explained the Digitisation part of the library, and Pn Magdalena for the transcription of AV materials of our collection. The visit lasted about 2 hours.
Before parting ways, representative from Bank Negara Malaysia presented a book to Mr Adnan as token of appreciation and thanks to the Foundation.
